Rolex 126518LN Dials and Retail Prices

Rolex currently makes the 126518LN with eight dials. The case, bezel, movement and bracelet are the same on all of them. Only the dial changes, and the last four digits of the reference tell you which one a watch has.

Two pairs are easy to confuse in photographs. The -0010 and -0012 both have a golden dial: on the -0010 the counters are golden with black rings, while the -0012 has solid black counters, the combination collectors call the Rolex “Pikachu”. The -0004 and -0008 are both black: the -0004 has champagne counters, the -0008 black counters with golden rings. The -0006 is the only version with a diamond-set dial. The turquoise dial of the -0014 is sometimes called “Tiffany” on the secondary market, but Rolex names it turquoise blue and it has no connection with Tiffany & Co. The -0016 has a dial cut from a meteorite, so its crystalline pattern is different on every watch.

Rolex 126518LN Price

The official retail price for the Rolex Daytona 126518LN is $42,700 (six of the eight dials, as of September 2026). At Watch My Diamonds, the Rolex Daytona 126518LN is available at $70,310 — about 65% above retail.

Like most gold Daytonas, the 126518LN has generally traded above its list price since it was released, and the premium depends on the dial and on whether the watch is unworn. Rolex has also raised the list price since launch: the turquoise -0014 was introduced at $37,400 in 2025 and lists at $42,700 today, so a retail figure quoted in an older article is usually out of date. For an individual watch, the price comes down to the dial, the condition of the case and the Oysterflex, whether the box and warranty card are present, and how recent the date on the card is.

The Oysterflex is often described as a rubber strap, but it is built more like a bracelet. Two curved metal blades, one in each half, are overmolded with black elastomer, and cushions on the inner side hold the case steady on the wrist. The Glidelock system in the clasp lets you fine-tune the length without tools.

126518LN vs 116518LN

The 116518LN was introduced at Baselworld 2017, when Rolex first offered the Daytona on an Oysterflex, in yellow gold alongside the Everose 116515LN and the white gold 116519LN. The 126518LN replaced it in 2023, with the updates Rolex made to the whole Daytona line for the model’s 60th anniversary. Side by side, the two are close; the differences are in the details.

Introduced 2017 2023
Movement Calibre 4130 Calibre 4131, with Chronergy escapement
Power reserve About 72 hours About 72 hours
Bezel Black Cerachrom Black Cerachrom framed by a thin yellow gold rim
Dial Wider counter rings and hour markers Slimmer counter rings and hour markers
Case 40 mm 40 mm, redrawn lugs and a slightly slimmer profile

The quickest way to tell them apart on the wrist is the bezel: on the 126518LN a fine line of yellow gold runs around the ceramic. For the full history of the Daytona references, see our Rolex Daytona reference guide. If you want the same watch in another gold, the 126515LN is the Everose version and the 126519LN the white gold one. The 126508 is the yellow gold Daytona on a matching gold Oyster bracelet with a gold bezel instead of ceramic.

What to Check Before Buying a 126518LN

  • The reference and the dial. Make sure the dial matches the reference on the warranty card. With eight versions, and pairs as close as -0010 and -0012, this is the first thing to confirm.
  • The diamonds on a -0006. They should be the diamonds Rolex set at the factory, matching the reference on the papers, not stones added after sale.
  • The Oysterflex. The elastomer is usually the first part of this watch to show wear. Look at the edges near the lugs and at the cushions on the inner side. It can be replaced through Rolex, but the cost belongs in the price you pay.
  • The case. 18 kt yellow gold is softer than steel and marks more easily. Check the lug edges and case sides for dents, and for rounded, over-polished bevels.
  • The bezel. Cerachrom resists scratches and does not fade, but a hard knock can chip it, and the gold rim around it can show dings.
  • The warranty card. Rolex’s international guarantee runs five years from the date on the card, so the date matters as much as the card itself.

Every watch we sell is inspected and authenticated in house before it ships.

What is the Rolex 126518LN “Pikachu”?

It is the 126518LN-0012, with a golden dial and black counters. The yellow and black recall the Pokémon character, which is where the nickname comes from. It is a collector nickname, not a Rolex name.

Is the turquoise 126518LN a Tiffany dial?

No. The 126518LN-0014 has a turquoise blue and black dial made by Rolex, and it carries no Tiffany & Co. signature. “Tiffany” is a nickname used by some sellers because of the color.

What is the difference between the 126518LN and the 116518LN?

The 126518LN (2023) uses the newer calibre 4131, adds a thin yellow gold rim around the ceramic bezel and has slimmer counter rings, hour markers and lugs. The 116518LN (2017) uses the calibre 4130. Both are 40 mm, both are on the Oysterflex and both have about 72 hours of power reserve.

Can you swim with the Rolex 126518LN?

Yes. The case is water resistant to 100 m, and the Oysterflex is made for water. Make sure the crown and the chronograph pushers are screwed down before you swim, and do not operate the pushers underwater.
