Sometime later in the 1960s, another model was added to the Rolex Oyster movement: the Ref. 1020. Its case size was 34 mm. Visually, compared to its predecessors, it was more modern in style with updated hour markers. These new innovations and designs made the watch more reliable and increased its popularity. In 2008, a new ref. 116000 was introduced, whose case size was 36 mm and had the new Caliber 3130, which stood out for its accuracy. The design of this model has become even more modern in style, and the size of the hour markers has been increased for better visibility. At the end of this Rolex model series, we find the 2020 Ref. 124300, which features a larger case and updated caliber 3230. The dial of this model is available in more colors.
