The TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph is one of the most recognizable motorsport watches ever built. Jack Heuer introduced it in 1963 and named it after the Carrera Panamericana, the Mexican road race that set its brief: a chronograph a driver could read at speed. That meant a clean tri-compax layout, an uncluttered dial with no wasted markings, and pushers placed where a gloved hand expects them.
