Factory Gem-Set vs. Custom Diamond Bezels

Two very different things get sold as a Breitling diamond bezel, and the distinction drives both the price you pay and the value you keep. Factory gem-set references leave Breitling’s own workshops with the stones already set. The bezel is part of the original specification, the diamonds are selected and set to Breitling’s own standard, and the watch keeps its full factory warranty along with its position on the resale market. Custom diamond bezel work is set afterwards by an independent jeweler.
