Rolex has made four unique, gem-set Cosmograph Daytonas, one for each season, and will sell them at a charity auction in London on Monday, September 28, 2026. Phillips, which is running the sale, calls it the first charity auction Rolex has ever held. All proceeds go to two foundations: the Federer Foundation and Re:wild.
The project is part of Rolex’s Perpetual Planet Initiative and involves two Rolex Testimonees. Roger Federer’s foundation, established in 2003, supports early learning for children in Southern Africa and Switzerland. Re:wild, which Leonardo DiCaprio co-founded with a group of conservation scientists, protects and restores natural ecosystems.

The four watches
Each watch pairs a different precious metal with a dial cut from natural stone and a bezel set with 36 trapeze-cut colored stones. The rest is common to all four: 54 brilliant-cut diamonds on the lugs and crown guards (about 0.86 carats), and Rolex’s self-winding calibre 4131 chronograph with a power reserve of about 72 hours. Each is certified as a Superlative Chronometer.
Spring: 18k white gold (ref. 126599 SAVL)
The Spring Daytona has a dial cut from chrysoprase, a green variety of chalcedony, with counters in lepidolite, a lilac mica. Purple sapphires carry that color through the rest of the watch: eight baguette-cut and three square-cut stones, set in 18k white gold, mark the hours, and 36 trapeze-cut purple sapphires, about 5.57 carats in total, line the bezel.
Summer: 18k Everose gold (ref. 126595 SARO)
Summer is cased in Everose, Rolex’s own 18k pink gold alloy. The dial is turquoise and the counters are cut from heart of ruby. The gem-setting is all pink sapphire: eight baguette-cut and three square-cut stones in 18k pink gold settings for the hour markers, and 36 trapeze-cut pink sapphires, about 4.32 carats, on the bezel.
Autumn: 18k yellow gold (ref. 126598 TML)
Autumn is the only one of the four without sapphires. Its dial is mookaite, a patterned jasper from Western Australia, and the counters are chrysoprase. In place of sapphires it uses green tourmalines: eight baguette-cut and three square-cut stones in 18k yellow gold settings mark the hours, and 36 trapeze-cut green tourmalines, about 4.32 carats, line the bezel.
Winter: 950 platinum (ref. 126596 SABV)
Winter is the only one of the four with a platinum case. Its dial is blue opal with lapis lazuli counters, and it is also the only one with diamond hour markers: eight baguette-cut and three square-cut diamonds in 18k white gold settings. The bezel carries 36 trapeze-cut sapphires that shade from blue to fuchsia, about 5.57 carats in total.

How the auction works
Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo will offer the watches as four separate lots, with Phillips’ senior consultant Aurel Bacs taking the bids. Phillips describes the sale as a private event; anyone who wants to bid remotely has to arrange it directly with Phillips. Neither Rolex nor Phillips has published estimates.
Gem-set Daytonas you can buy today
Watch My Diamonds is not involved in the auction and does not have any of the four watches. Rolex does make gem-set Daytonas for its regular collection, though, and several are in stock at Watch My Diamonds. As of September 23, 2026:
