Rolex Linen Dial

Rolex’s linen dial is among the most beautiful textured dials ever conceived by the house of Rolex. Worn almost exclusively from the late 1960s until the 1990s, Rolex derived the dial’s name from the micro-optical pattern, linen weave embossed onto the dial face. By engraving tiny horizontal and vertical lines across the dial face, Rolex replicated the appearance of finely woven natural linen.
