Rolex Sky-Dweller Champagne Dial
Champagne is the warmest dial Rolex puts in the Sky-Dweller, and the one that most clearly signals the watch is meant to be worn as an ornament rather than as an instrument. The colour is not quite gold and not quite cream — a pale metallic sunburst that shifts between the two as the light moves — and against a yellow gold case it reads as one continuous material rather than as a face set inside a bezel. That is the whole argument for it.

Rolex Sky-Dweller Champagne Dial
A black or blue Sky-Dweller looks like a complicated watch in a gold case; a champagne one simply looks like a gold watch.
It is also the configuration that hides the Sky-Dweller’s complexity best. Rolex’s only annual calendar puts a great deal on its face — twelve month apertures ringing the chapter ring, an off-centre 24-hour disc for the second time zone, a date at three o’clock — and champagne mutes all of it into the dial instead of throwing it forward. Whether that counts as a feature depends entirely on whether you bought the watch for the complication or for the look.
Rolex Sky-Dweller Champagne Dial Price
At Watch My Diamonds, champagne dial Rolex Sky-Dweller watches range from $19,747 to $73,062 across 5 priced listings.
Read that range carefully, because it spans listings that are no longer for sale. Most of the champagne Sky-Dwellers on this page have sold, and we leave them up as a record of what these references actually traded at. What is currently buyable sits in a narrower band in the middle of the spread — the extreme ends belong to a pre-owned Yellow Rolesor at the bottom and a solid gold Jubilee at the top.
That is the pattern across the whole model: metal sets the price and condition adjusts it. The distance between Rolesor and solid gold is far wider than the distance between an unworn and a pre-owned example of either one.
Champagne Comes Only in Yellow Metal
Every champagne dial Sky-Dweller we have handled has been either solid yellow gold or Yellow Rolesor. No White Rolesor, no Everose, no steel — and once you have seen the dial next to a white gold bezel it is obvious why. Champagne is a warm, yellow-leaning colour, and it goes flat against cool metal in a way it never does against yellow.
That matters when you shop by filter. If you have settled on a champagne face, you have also chosen your case metal without meaning to. The only question left is how much gold: a bezel, crown and centre links, or the whole watch.
Champagne Dial References We Stock
Yellow Rolesor — 326933 and 336933
Oystersteel with an 18 ct yellow gold fluted bezel, crown and centre links. This is the most common champagne Sky-Dweller and the least expensive route into the configuration, and the pairing is a natural one — the gold in the bracelet picks up the gold in the dial, so the watch reads as more precious than its metal content suggests. If the two-tone look interests you more than the dial colour, our two tone Sky-Dweller page covers every dial in Rolesor.
Solid Yellow Gold — 326938 and 336938
18 ct yellow gold throughout, on an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet. This is the version most people picture when they think of this watch, and champagne on solid gold is the most monochromatic thing Rolex makes: case, bracelet, indices and dial all sit within a few shades of one another. It is either the most cohesive Sky-Dweller or the most anonymous, and owners tend to feel strongly one way or the other. A yellow gold Sky-Dweller sits at the top of the price range on this page by a wide margin.
Yellow Gold on Oysterflex — 336238
Solid yellow gold on Rolex’s Oysterflex strap, a titanium and nickel blade overmoulded in black elastomer. It wears considerably lighter than a gold bracelet and drops the formality of the watch several notches. Champagne against black rubber is the least expected combination on this page and the one that changes the character of the Sky-Dweller most. Our Sky-Dweller Oysterflex page collects the other dial colours in this case shape.
326 or 336? What Changed in 2023
Rolex replaced the 326 series with the 336 series in 2023, and the change is almost entirely internal. Calibre 9001 gave way to calibre 9002, which adds the Chronergy escapement for better energy efficiency and magnetic resistance, a skeletonised oscillating weight on an improved ball-bearing mount, and Paraflex shock absorbers. The power reserve stays at roughly 72 hours, and both generations are Superlative Chronometer certified.
Externally the two are near-identical. The reliable tell is the small Rolex coronet printed between “Swiss” and “Made” at six o’clock on the newer dials. For a watch that will spend its life on a wrist rather than in a service centre the practical gap is narrow, and a well-kept 326 in the right metal is often the better buy. Choose the example, not the generation.
Oyster, Jubilee or Oysterflex
The Sky-Dweller launched on the Oyster bracelet alone, and most champagne examples are still Oyster. Rolex added the Jubilee in 2021, and it suits this dial particularly well — the five-link bracelet throws more light than the three-link Oyster, which plays to a face already built around a sunburst finish. It also softens a case that is genuinely large at 42 mm. Our Sky-Dweller Jubilee page collects every dial colour on that bracelet.
Oysterflex is the third option and appears only on solid gold cases. Between the three, bracelet choice moves the price less than metal does but more than dial colour does.
Buying a Champagne Dial Sky-Dweller
Every watch on this page is sourced through authorized dealers, wholesalers and distributors, and is guaranteed 100 percent authentic and covered by warranty — see our authenticity guarantee for the full terms. Orders ship overnight and fully insured within the United States at no cost.
Some listings show a price and some do not. Where a watch is in stock without a displayed price it is priced on request, because for references whose market moves quickly a published number would be stale before you read it. Listings marked sold have gone, and we keep them visible because they record what these references actually traded at. If the champagne Sky-Dweller you want is one of them, call us — these come through regularly, and we can usually source a specific reference and bracelet combination.
Call (212) 382-2600 or send an enquiry through any listing and we will quote you the same day.
