Steel, White Gold or Rose Gold: The Four Versions
5968A-001 in Steel
The 5968A-001 is the only 5968 in steel and the least expensive at retail. Patek Philippe describes its dial as sunburst charcoal gray with a black-gradient rim, and in most light it reads black. The chronograph indications are picked out in orange. It is delivered with two composite straps, a black one fitted and an orange spare, on a steel fold-over clasp, so a listing photographed on the orange strap is the same reference.
The White Gold 5968G
Two dials share the white gold case. The 5968G-001 pairs a sunburst blue dial and black-gradient rim with a midnight blue strap.
