A small Rolex measures from 26 mm to 29 mm across the case. Rolex’s smallest current models are 28 mm, the Lady-Datejust and the Oyster Perpetual 28. The 26 mm Lady-Datejust, the Oyster Perpetual 26 and the 29 mm Pearlmaster are no longer in the catalog and are available only pre-owned. This collection brings together every small Rolex we have, unworn and pre-owned, in Oystersteel, Rolesor and solid gold, with or without diamonds. Below the watches you’ll find prices, a size guide and answers to common questions.
At Watch My Diamonds, small Rolex watches range from $5,499 to $60,300 across 51 priced listings.
Bought new from Rolex, the smallest models start at $6,200 for the Oyster Perpetual 28 and $7,800 for the Lady-Datejust in Oystersteel. Gold and diamond versions of the Lady-Datejust go past $50,000 (rolex.com, United States, before tax, as of September 2026). In our inventory, pre-owned 26 mm watches are usually the least expensive way into a small Rolex. The price of any single watch comes down to the metal, any diamonds on the bezel or dial, the bracelet, the condition, and whether the box and papers are included. Small Rolex Sizes, From 26 mm to 29 mm
Rolex measures the case diameter without the crown. In this collection, the size tells you which generation a watch belongs to as much as how it fits.
The smallest Rolex you can buy new today measures 28 mm: the Lady-Datejust and the Oyster Perpetual 28. On its own website, Rolex groups them with the 31 mm Datejust as its small sizes. The 26 mm Lady-Datejust and Oyster Perpetual 26 were smaller still. Rolex has replaced both with today’s 28 mm models, so they are now available only pre-owned. The smallest watches in our inventory are 26 mm.
How a Small Rolex Wears
A Rolex from 26 mm to 28 mm sits well within a slim wrist and slides easily under a cuff, which is why these sizes are the classic choice for a dress watch. Every Pearlmaster in this collection is solid gold on a matching gold Pearlmaster bracelet. For a little more presence without leaving the Datejust family, look at the Rolex Datejust 31. For every ladies’ Datejust size in one place, see Rolex Datejust Lady.
Unworn or Pre-Owned
Our unworn small Rolex watches are current 28 mm models, mostly the Lady-Datejust. Pre-owned watches cover every size, and they are the only way to buy a 26 mm model or a Pearlmaster 29, since Rolex no longer makes either. To narrow the list, use the Condition, Case Size and Bracelet Type filters, which also let you choose between Jubilee, Oyster and President bracelets.
Small Rolex FAQs
What size is a small Rolex?
In this collection, a small Rolex measures from 26 mm to 29 mm across the case. In its current catalog, Rolex calls the 28 mm and the 31 mm its small sizes.
Does Rolex still make a 26 mm watch?
No. Rolex replaced the Oyster Perpetual 26 with the Oyster Perpetual 28 in 2020, and the Lady-Datejust now measures 28 mm. A 26 mm Rolex today is a pre-owned watch.
What is the difference between the Lady-Datejust and the Oyster Perpetual 28?
The Lady-Datejust shows the date under a Cyclops magnifier at 3 o’clock and comes with a smooth, fluted or diamond-set bezel on a Jubilee, Oyster or President bracelet. The Oyster Perpetual 28 has no date, a smooth bezel and an Oyster bracelet, which makes it the simpler of the two and, in Oystersteel, the less expensive.
