Rolex Green Aventurine

Rolex has occasionally adorned its dials with aventurine, a shimmering semi-precious stone that gives a starry, crystalline effect. Aventurine (a form of quartz with glittering mineral inclusions) has been used by Rolex in various Day-Date, Datejust/Pearlmaster, and a few special models.Aventurine dials are cut from real stone, not painted – each is unique and difficult to manufacture. The stone’s finely crystallized surface sparkles in light. Rolex describes its green aventurine as “a stone with a finely crystallized surface,” cut from a block of raw material.
