The Caliber 3255 operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, ensuring stable and precise timekeeping. It features a free-sprung balance regulated by Microstella screws, allowing for fine adjustment without compromising long-term stability.
One of the movement’s standout features is its approximately 70-hour power reserve, offering increased autonomy compared to previous generations. This allows the watch to maintain accuracy even after extended periods off the wrist.
Rolex Models Powered by the 3255 Movement
The Rolex 3255 movement is used exclusively in Day-Date models, including modern Day-Date 40 and select Day-Date configurations crafted in precious metals. These watches represent the highest tier of Rolex’s catalog and are produced only in gold or platinum.
