Technically, the 3135 is a self-winding mechanical movement with a 48-hour power reserve and a 28,800 vph (4 Hz) beat rate, delivering smooth second-hand motion and stable timekeeping. It includes a COSC chronometer certification, ensuring strict accuracy standards. One of the most significant upgrades in its lifetime was the addition of Rolex’s blue Parachrom hairspring, which offers outstanding resistance to magnetism, shocks, and temperature variations while improving long-term stability.
