The Breitling watch powered by the Caliber 23 movement is a robust and precise timepiece featuring a self-winding mechanical chronograph with a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The chronograph function includes 1/4th second, 30-minute, and 12-hour counters, operating at a high-frequency vibration rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour for accurate timekeeping. The stainless steel case is complemented by a screwed-in caseback, screw-locked crown with two gaskets, and a bidirectional ratcheted bezel. Its cambered sapphire crystal is glareproofed on both sides.
With a case diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 14.7 mm, the watch strikes a balance between presence and comfort. It is water-resistant up to 10 bars (100 meters), making it suitable for everyday use and light aquatic activities. The gold brown calfskin leather strap is straight cut and secured with a stainless steel folding clasp, transitioning from 22 mm at the lugs to 18 mm at the buckle.
