The Breitling 72 is a precision-engineered timepiece powered by a thermocompensated SuperQuartz™ movement, offering superior accuracy and reliability. It features a robust stainless steel case with a screwed-in caseback and is water-resistant up to 10 bars. The movement contains 3 jewels, and the non screw-locked crown is secured with two gaskets. Its cambered sapphire crystal is glareproofed on both sides, ensuring excellent legibility.
Compact and lightweight, the watch has a 28 mm diameter, 8.46 mm thickness, and weighs approximately 94.52 g overall. The watch-head alone weighs just 23 g. It comes with a metal stainless steel bracelet featuring a straight strap design and 14/12 mm lug size, ensuring a sleek, modern fit.
