Rolex Submariner Green Bezel
Rolex has put a green bezel on the steel Submariner Date in three generations: the 16610LV “Kermit” of 2003, the 116610LV “Hulk” of 2010 and the current 126610LV “Starbucks” of 2020. The Kermit and the Starbucks pair the green bezel with a black dial, while the Hulk adds a matching green dial. The green-bezel Submariners in our inventory are listed below, with available watches first and sold pieces kept for comparison. Each model also has its own page: the Kermit, the Hulk and the Starbucks.

Rolex Submariner Green Bezel Price
At Watch My Diamonds, green-bezel Rolex Submariner watches range from $19,500 to $40,821 across 7 priced listings.
The 126610LV is the only green Submariner still in the Rolex catalog, with a retail price of $11,900 on rolex.com as of September 2026. Authorized dealers allocate it mainly to established clients, so most buyers without a purchase history pay more for an unworn or pre-owned example on the secondary market. The Kermit and the Hulk are out of production and priced on condition, completeness and details: the Hulk, the only one with a green dial, usually costs well above the current model’s retail, and early Kermits with the “Flat 4” bezel sell for more than later examples. The range above includes watches that have already sold, which show what buyers actually paid better than an asking price does.

16610LV “Kermit” (2003–2010)
Rolex introduced the 16610LV in 2003 to mark the Submariner’s 50th anniversary. It is a 16610 Submariner Date with a green anodized aluminum bezel insert in place of the black one: same 40 mm case, black dial and calibre 3135. Collectors look first at the bezel. Early inserts have a “Flat 4”, where the 4 of the 40-minute marker has a flat top, and those examples sell at a premium. Late-production watches have the larger “Maxi” hour markers. Aluminum also fades over time, so the green of two Kermits is rarely identical. See the Rolex Kermit page.
116610LV “Hulk” (2010–2020)
The Hulk arrived in 2010 with the redesigned 40 mm case, which has broader lugs and crown guards, and a green Cerachrom ceramic bezel that does not fade. Its green sunburst dial makes it the only green-dial Submariner, and the dial shifts from bright green to almost black depending on the light. Calibre 3135, Chromalight lume and a Glidelock clasp complete it. Rolex discontinued it in 2020 when the 41 mm range arrived, and on the secondary market it usually costs more than either black-dial model. See the Rolex Hulk page, or the Submariner green dial page for every green-dial example.
126610LV “Starbucks” (2020–present)
The current model came in September 2020 with a 41 mm case, slimmer lugs than the Hulk and calibre 3235, which has about 70 hours of power reserve and is certified to −2/+2 seconds a day as a Superlative Chronometer. It goes back to a black dial and keeps a green Cerachrom bezel, a combination collectors named “Starbucks” after the coffee chain’s colors. Some also call it the “Kermit” or “Cermit”, for ceramic Kermit. It is water resistant to 300 meters and comes on an Oyster bracelet with the Oysterlock clasp and Glidelock extension. See the Rolex Starbucks page.
What to Check Before Buying a Green Submariner
- That the reference and serial number on the watch match the warranty card or papers, and that the papers belong to this watch.
- On a Kermit, whether the bezel insert is original. A replacement insert from a service is worth less than an original “Flat 4”.
- On a Hulk, the dial in daylight, to confirm the sunburst finish has not been refinished or retouched.
- Box, papers and service history. A complete set sells for more and is easier to resell.
